The climate in United Arab Emirates
The UAE are situated on the Persian Gulf and have a desert climate. Summer lasts from May to September and the mercury rises during the day to around 40 degrees. Thus, a lot of sweating is involved. In the east and the mountain area it is slightly cooler. A rain shower is a rare event in UAE. Summer is completely dry. If it does rain it will be between November and March. The temperature during that period also takes on more normal proportions and is between 25 and 30 °C.
