Britain is the country of rain and fog. Not forgetting the wind either. This somewhat bleak climate is due to the prevailing south-westerly winds, which continuously blow moist air blow across the country. Especially in the north and the western mountains there is considerable precipitation. Britain also has a sunny side which is located along the south and south-west coast. London and surrounding area has on average the warmest summers with 21 °C. In Scotland and Wales in some areas it doesn’t get much warmer than 16 °C. In Scotland you can even go skiing in winter.
