The climate in Denmark
Denmark has a temperate oceanic climate. Since the country is almost entirely surrounded by water, the air is moist. Especially in the west, it is often windy. It also rains a lot, especially in winter when it also snows regularly. In summer the temperature fluctuates between 15 and 30 °C. In winter the temperature remains around freezing. When the wind comes from the east then it can freeze severely for long periods. Summer is remarkably sunny, partly thanks to the long presence of the sun. The warmest month is July.
