The climate in Kyrgyzstan
Kyrgyzstan, which borders China in the east, is very mountainous. It has a continental climate. The summers are hot and winters cold. The temperature difference within one year is extremely high: in July it can be 35 °C, and in the same spot in January the mercury barely gets above freezing. Kyrgyzstan is a dry country. Most rain falls from April to June. In the summer there is a lot of sunshine. In the mountains it is pleasant and cool; an ideal time to explore this area, devoid of tourism, on foot.
