The climate in Togo
Togo is situated north of the equator on the Gulf of Guinea and has a tropical climate. The temperature throughout the year is between 27 and 33 °C. The rainy season is long and runs from April to October. In the south on the coast it is dry for a month in August. From July to September the trade wind blows there. In the north the Harmattan blows in December and January, this is a treacherous desert wind. After the rainy season comes the warm season, which runs from November to May. It is best to travel in the dry season.
